My name is Jimmy Ausbrooks and I earned my Masters of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I counsel individuals, couples and families. I counsel in areas of anxiety, stress management, conflict resolution, poor self-image, spirituality, and identity, and grief. I am an affirming counselor.
I have vital experience in navigating issues related to gender identity, career, and transitions. I am passionate about helping others in all stages of life as they face conflict within themselves and with others. I am a native of Kentucky and reside in Franklin. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Western Kentucky University. I enjoy many hobbies and interests; i.e., any adventurous activities, domestic and international travel, politics, and cooking. I am a foodie and avid Food Network watcher.
I currently serve on the board of the Kentucky Counseling Association as a division president, chapter vice-president, and committee chair. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association. I advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and equality.
