Latosha is a professional counselor who earned her Master of Education in Counseling & Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling. Since her graduation, Latosha has gained valuable experience working with adults who suffer from a wide range of mental health and substance abuse disorders. Latosha believes in adjusting to the needs of the individual and meeting them where they are in their healing process. Latosha has experience working in a variety of treatment settings and providing in-home services: Crisis stabilization units, Community Mental Health Clinics, In-Home, and In-School settings. Latosha has experience working with groups in inpatient and outpatient settings. Latosha’s experience has prepared her to competently provide counseling to adolescents and adults suffering from mental health disorders, substance abuse disorders, and dual diagnosis. Latosha has experience treating mood/thought disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse disorders, psychotic disorders, life adjustments, grief and loss, and trauma. Latosha believes in a holistic approach to wellness, which includes improving both your physical and emotional well-being. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, primarily including TF- CBT, CBT, DBT, SFT, and MI techniques. However, Latosha believes that relationships and repour will help assist individuals to achieve personal growth.
